Ronald Smith earned his B.S. degree in Justice Sciences with a minor in Spanish from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998. He received a J.D. at the University of Alabama in December 2000 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in March of 2001. After graduation, Mr. Smith was a prosecutor for the Madison County District Attorney's office until 2003 when he began practicing with Ables, Baxter, Parker & Hall, P.C. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama (2003).
